Cooking method:

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup Haruka rice and 1.25 cup water and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce the heat and cook with the lid on for about 20 minutes until all the liquid has evaporated. Remove the pot from the stovetop and let stand covered for 10 minutes. Makes about 2.5 cups of cooked rice.
