Welcome to our blog full of unique culinary adventures! Today we bring you a stunning recipe for spicy Thai noodles with basil, which will immediately engulf you with its aroma and taste. And the best part? Our delicious delicacy is prepared using one of the most popular ingredients - rice noodles !

If you are a fan of spicy noodles and noodles in general, this recipe is for you.

Ingredients:

We need:

  • 200 g of baked rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, cut into crescents
  • 200 g tofu cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional for vegetarians)
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the baked rice noodles according to package directions. Cut them off and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the crushed garlic and saute until fragrant.
  4. Add the red pepper and carrot to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Move the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the tofu.
  6. Cook until golden brown on all sides.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and chili garlic sauce.
  8. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and tofu and mix evenly.
  9. Add the cooked baked rice noodles to the pan and toss with the sauce and vegetables.
  10. Stir in the Thai basil leaves and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the basil has wilted.
  11. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  12. Serve hot and garnish with additional Thai basil leaves as desired.
