BAKED FRUIT
Ingredients
- Medium apple, peeled and thinly sliced,
- 1 pear, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Jeeny's powdered coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup. cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons. butter, melted
- 50 g of almonds
- 50 g of cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
Instructions
- Sprinkle slices of apples and pears with lemon juice.
- Place in a baking dish.
- Place almonds and cashews on top; put away.
- In a small saucepan, combine Jeeny's coconut sugar powder, butter, cinnamon and pineapple juice.
- Cook and stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved and the butter has melted, then pour over the fruit
- Bake uncovered at 325° for 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
