BAKED FRUIT

Ingredients

  • Medium apple, peeled and thinly sliced,
  • 1 pear, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Jeeny's powdered coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup. cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons. butter, melted
  • 50 g of almonds
  • 50 g of cashew nuts
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

Instructions

  • Sprinkle slices of apples and pears with lemon juice.
  • Place in a baking dish.
  • Place almonds and cashews on top; put away.
  • In a small saucepan, combine Jeeny's coconut sugar powder, butter, cinnamon and pineapple juice.
  • Cook and stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved and the butter has melted, then pour over the fruit
  • Bake uncovered at 325° for 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
