Nõn tôm tea is known for being processed in the classical way from the collection of the best green tea buds from the important Tan Cuong tea area in Thai Nguyen province. Only one to two youngest tea leaves with a bud are always collected by hand. After processing, the shape of the tea resembles peeled small prawns (Vietnamese  nõn tôm ), so the tea was named Trà nõn tôm.

Preparation tip: Rinse the teapot with boiling water before making tea. Add 3-5 g of tea to a 150 ml teapot. Add boiling water as needed. Let it infuse for 5 minutes before eating.
