Calrose rice is a type of short grain rice that originates from the United States of America. It was created by crossing Japanese Koshihikari rice with other types of rice in California in the 20th century.

Cooking instructions:

  • Rinse the rice lightly until the water is clear enough and drain

  • Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
