In Korea, Bulgogi literally means, "fire meat". Traditionally, thin strips of marinated beef are cooked over a charcoal fire using a dome shaped griddle and are served with lettuce, raw sliced garlic and a red hot pepper paste.

Ingredients: Sugar, soy sauce (water, soybeans, salt, sugar, wheat flour), garlic, sesame oil, onion, ginger, black pepper, sesame paste

Instructions for preparation:

Ingredients (2-3 servings):

  • 1 packet of Marnade Korean Meat Bulgogi;
  • 350 g of beef, cut into slices,
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil;
  • sesame seeds, chopped green chilies, spring onions or lettuce leaves for garnish.

Preparation:

  1. Mix the marinade well with the oil in a large bowl. Add the beef, mix well and leave to marinate, covered, for at least 1 hour.
  2. Pan-frying: Heat a pan to high heat. Add the marinated meat and cook the meat for about 4 minutes until the meat is soft. Grilling on a charcoal grill/electric grill: Grill the meat until cooked through.
