Ingredients: Galangal, shallots, soybean oil, sugar, salt, red pepper jalapeno, dried shrimps, garlic, lemongrass, turmeric.

Usage: Ingredients (3 servings):

  • 1 packet Spice Paste for Singapore Laksa
  • 2 spoons of vegetable oil
  • 250g of boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 330 ml of coconut milk
  • 220 ml of water
  • 125g rice noodles, egg noodles or Hokkien noodles, cooked according to package instructions
  • 100g bean sprouts (blanched) drained) as decoration

Approach:

  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add meat and spice paste, stir for 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in coconut milk and water, simmer uncovered over low heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Serve hot over noodles, garnish with bean sprouts and chicken strips.
