Tandoori Tikka is a traditional Indian dish of small pieces of boneless chicken baked using skewers in a clay oven called a tandoor after marinating in spices and yogurt. This wonderful spicy marinade gives a distinctive taste to all your oven cooked and grilled meats.

Ingredients: Soybean oil, distilled vinegar, garlic, salt, ginger, ground pepper, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, herbs and spices, red chili, sesame oil, black pepper.

Usage: Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 package Indian Tandoori Tikka Marinade
  • 450 g boneless skinless chicken or lamb, cut into 2 cm cubes
  • 55-110 ml of whipped white yogurt
  • butter for basting
  • sliced lemon and/or lettuce as a garnish (optional). 

Approach:

1. Marinate the meat with marinade and yogurt. Cover and leave for 1 hour or more.
2. Pierce the meat on wooden or metal skewers,
3. Grill for 8-10 minutes, basting at least twice with butter and remaining marinade. Turn the skewers occasionally, decorate and serve hot.
